This poster features a young adult male wild turkey (Meleagris gallopavo silvestris). He has a red throat, neck and wattles and his feathers have areas of red, purple, green, copper, brown, bronze, and gold iridescence. This was the turkey species first encountered in the wild by the Puritans. Turkeys are a classic symbol of the Thanksgiving holiday season. The text reads: Thanksgiving survivor. If you love animals don't eat them. It can be customized or removed.
